Service & Repairs

Copycat document solutions are committed to giving all our clients exceptional on going technical support to ensure their equipment remains productive throughout its lifetime. Even the latest, high tech, digital imaging systems require periodic service and maintenance. We will do whatever it takes to prevent downtime of your critical copy, print, scanning devices. Our proactive service model allows us to anticipate potential problems, keeping minor issues from becoming major problems, and quickly complete any service that’s required.
We specialise in providing service and repairs to a full range of Sharp MFPs and can provide a quote for the repairs of your Sharp equipment if required. We have fast response times keeping in line with industry standards, so if your machine has broken down, we will do our very best to get you back up and running again for you as quickly as possible with the minimum of inconvenience and down time. We also run a proactive routine preventative maintenance program and only use genuine OEM parts and consumables, to ensure your machine is performing at it best.
Using a combination of industry leading software, we can remotely monitor the status of your equipment and be alerted to any potential problems before they impact on your productivity. We will receive email updates on page count, errors and service data which allow us to take a proactive approach to managing your output devices.
Our service agreements cover callouts, labour, consumable parts, and toner cartridges giving you total peace of mind that your photocopier (MFP) will always be back up and running asap. If, however you wish to opt for a pay as you go service plan, then Copycat are happy to help with excellent rates for labour and competitive pricing on parts.
We offer a full range of Sharp multifunctional devices to meet your needs, and with Sharps award winning range of equipment combined with the latest in technological advancements, there is document solution for everyone. From a small A4 desktop device, for a small office environment right up to the most sophisticated High Speed Full Colour networked systems.
When a fault has been logged on our system, we will analyse the fault and determine if it can be fixed remotely or over the phone. If the problem is more complex in nature, then an Engineer will be sent out to fix the problem.

Installations

We will take care of the delivery and the installation of your new equipment including the networking of your new device and where necessary we will liaise with your inhouse or external IT provider to ensure a smooth installation is achieved.
Prior to installation our workshop technicians build and pre-configure each individual machine to your exact requirements. For example, IP addresses and PIN codes can be set up so you can use your new devices immediately upon installation. We will fully test all equipment on-site and all packaging is disposed of via our Recycling Centre prior to installation – helping minimise down-time. Once your installation is complete, we will then train key users on how to get the best from your new document solution.

Training

At Copycat document solutions we know that incorporating technology changes into your office is best achieved by designing and following a carefully prepared hardware and software training plan.

We will work with you to make your hands-on training session informative, ensuring you take full advantage of all features and functions designed to enhance your workflow and increase productivity. Managed Print Services

Managed print services (MPS) are services offered by Copycat document solutions to optimize or manage a company’s document output. The main components provided are needs assessment, selective or general replacement of hardware, and the service, parts and supplies needed to operate the new and/or existing hardware (including existing third-party equipment if this is required by the customer). We also track how the printer, copier and MFP fleet is being used, the problems, and the user’s satisfaction.

Hire

Photocopier Hire is one solution you can use as an alternative to leasing, whether you’re starting up as a new business or you simply require a short term hire solution for a specific project. We can arrange short term hire from as little as 1-12 month to suit your needs.
How is this compiled?
Photocopier Hire is a flexible short term hire agreement which is invoiced monthly, with one monthly payment inclusive of what your tailored package has been agreed upon. Short term hire contracts incorporate easy budgeting, low risk and eliminating yourself from longer term liabilities. Hire packages include installation and training for key personnel, so that you can get the most out of your new photocopier. If at a later stage, you wish to change to a longer term contract we can then discuss your options.ions.

The Rental Package
Photocopier rental is a great alternative to leasing for those companies that do not wish to be tied into a longer term agreement. We will work with you to identify the best device to suit your requirements as the costs of the rental package varies depending on what your needs are and the estimated rental period.

Photocopier leasing is a fantastic way of spreading the cost of your copier whilst ensuring it is professionally maintained and always available for everyone to use.

Leasing a photocopier
Photocopier leasing is a managed alternative to purchasing a photocopier outright. There is no capital expenditure and the payment scheme allows for easy management, whilst being 100% tax deductible. A photocopier lease couldn’t be easier; we offer flexible photocopier leases that will suit your business. By identifying your requirements we can arrange a photocopier lease from between three to five years.

Making the right choice
When buying a photocopier you are able to claim 40% of the purchase price against tax in the 1st year and afterwards claim 25% of the outstanding balance. If you lease a photocopier you do not have to pay the cost of the photocopier upfront and you may reclaim 100% of the quarterly payments. Photocopier leasing also releases your business from using up capital needlessly; buying a photocopier ties up money in that asset.
